It would also behoove you to study the solutions to this year's quizzes, as well as last year's (also in the notes packet).

how much are quizzes worth in final grading? where is the sylabus?
Grading details are in the course notes, in the first introductory chapter. This includes a breakdown by percentage on what everything is worth as well.
